Unstable Pencils is a premier personal art studio helmed by Kuumba, a seasoned visual and caricature artist. With three decades of experience, Kuumba has honed his craft in cartooning, graphic design, logo creation, and layout. From his early days interning at the Baltimore County Library Design Department and Del Geo Records to his current role managing and curating The Black Genus Art Show, Kuumba's journey is rich with diverse artistic experiences. Employing a blend of traditional mediums like pencils, charcoal, pastels, and pen and ink, Kuumba seamlessly integrates them with digital illustration, creating art that mirrors the essence of everyday life.
